Le Meridien is located in the fishing-village-turned-cultural-center of Jimbaran, an easy five-minute walk to the beach. With just 117 suites on the property, this is a great option for those looking for some quiet relaxation in a boutique-style resort. There are several bars on the property, in addition to the Bamboo Chic restaurant on site. This is open all day serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Seminyak is about a 30-minute drive from the airport, much closer to the action than some luxury resorts. The property offers villas with your own outdoor space which are tucked away and very private. They also have great ocean-facing rooms if you’d rather have a view of the sea. There are eight bars and restaurants at W Bali and Seminyak is home to some of the best Indonesian food you’ll find on the island if you want to go off property to explore. Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is more removed from authentic Bali and a great family destination. This is where you can find the infamous ‘Waterblow’. The Waterblow is located in the Indonesia Tourism Development Centre area on Nusa Dua Beach just north of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. People flock here for a close encounter with the gigantic waves. Nusa Dua is also home to Hidden Pandawa Beach. Although Pandawa is well-known among tourists, it’s called a secret due to the limestone cliffs that cover the long stretch of beach at Pandawa. It is also not easily accessible, so if you can make the trip you will be rewarded with privacy.

Ubud
Ubud was made famous for being featured in the book and movie Eat, Pray, Love. You can find a bit of everything here, but people mainly come here for healing in the peaceful jungle lifestyle.
