Which Honeymoon Destination is Right for You?
When choosing a honeymoon destination, there is much to consider. Is it within your budget? When should we plan to travel? What are we going to want to be doing the days, weeks, or months after our wedding day? Above all else, your honeymoon destination should suit your and your significant other’s style and personality.
For the Hopeless Romantics: Paris
Do we really need to convince you as to why Paris is the ultimate honeymoon destination for romance? Besides the stunning architecture and luxurious ambiance, the romance in Paris cannot be imitated. There are plenty of jaw-dropping views that are perfect for husband-and-wife photo ops, plus classic Parisian cafes to plan your future together. Plus, is there anything better than hearing “I love you” in French, or kissing your new spouse in front of the glittering Eiffel Tower at night? We think not.
For the Nature Lovers: St. Lucia
In addition to breathtaking beaches and mountain views, St. Lucia also has lush rainforests, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and sulphur springs. The island prides itself on its natural beauty, so much so that there are ongoing conservation efforts to keep the land looking exactly as it is. Take The Piton Mountains, for example. The Pitons are a symbol of the natural beauty in St. Lucia. These twin peaks are around 300,000 years old. Visit Soufriere for the best spot to gaze on both peaks, or stay at a resort such as Jade Mountain with an unbeatable view and open-air suites.
For the History Buffs: Rome
The “Eternal City” of Rome dates back to 753 BC. With awe-inspiring art, enchanting legacies, monuments and churches dominating Rome’s stunning landscape, Italy’s capital city has retained its ancient charm into present day. Plus, what’s more romantic than sharing a bowl of authentic cacio e pepe with your new spouse?

For the Adrenaline Junkies: New Zealand
New Zealand is an adventure-seekers paradise. From blackwater rafting in underground caves to hiking epic glaciers, you’ll encounter plenty of adrenaline-fueled adventure opportunities. You’ll want to begin your travels in Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Other areas in New Zealand you won’t want to miss include Franz Josef to see the glaciers and take a dip in the hot springs. In addition, make time on your trip for the geothermal wonders in Rotorua. Lastly, plan a stop at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves for an amazing blackwater rafting adventure.

For the Beach Bums: The Florida Keys
A true paradise, the Florida Keys provide honeymooners with a taste of the tropics in a locale that’s easy to reach, and doesn’t require a passport! The crystal-blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico surround this 120-mile island chain, made up of many islands including Key Largo, Islamorada, and Key West. Beach bums will love a honeymoon in the Keys, home to some of America’s most beautiful beaches and thriving marine life.

If you have always dreamed of a Disney honeymoon, you’ve come to the right place!

Why Honeymoon at Disney?
The Disney Parks are famous for their unparalleled hospitality for each and every guest, but they really kick it up a notch for visitors who are celebrating a special occasion. Honeymooners are no exception. You’re Enchanted Travel honeymoon expert will be sure to tell cast members (Disney employees) why you’re taking this special trip, especially when booking your room, checking in, and making dining reservations. You never know what little surprises await just around the river bend: free desert, special ride, and parade perks, or maybe even a special phone call from Mickey Mouse – not to mention attention from guests and cast members congratulating you throughout your stay.
Honeymooning at Walt Disney World can be a lavish experience, and it’s easy for the expenses to add up. But there’s no need to wish upon a star: the Disney Honeymoon Registry helps your wedding guests fund the honeymoon of your dreams. By using this online service (complimentary for Disney Resort Hotel couples), your friends and family can choose gifts and experiences directly from a Disney honeymoon catalog, including dining and theater packages, park tickets, a carriage ride – even a VIP safari!
Here are some frequently asked questions about honeymooning at Disney:
When Should We Go on our Disney Honeymoon?
Although your wedding might be in August, summer is Walt Disney World’s muggiest and most crowded season. Stick to spring and mid-fall, and avoid holidays and school breaks in order to guarantee a less crowded and more romantic honeymoon. There is nothing wrong with having a honeymoon a few months after your wedding.
How long should we stay on our Disney Honeymoon?
There’s so much to do at Walt Disney World. No one can see everything in one visit, but with a little planning (and scheduling in some downtime), you can spend your post-wedding days in bliss, not stress.
How long you stay is up to you. If you want to make sure you get in all tons of attractions and activities, you are going to need a week. The good thing is that longer your stay, the cheaper park tickets become each day. With a week, you can go to one park each day, which is plenty of time to ride all the rides (assuming you planned ahead and have FastPasses), see a show or two and relax. On days you are not at the parks you can enjoy the other many attractions at your resort or in the surrounding areas.
If you do not want to spend your whole honeymoon in Disney World, I recommend going for 2 days. This is enough time for you to hit many of the park highlights; just pick the attractions that matter most to you.
Why should we stay at a Disney Resort for our Disney Honeymoon?
Disney resorts are going to be more expensive than nearby hotels, so by looking only at the budget you may think you want to stay outside of Disney. When you look into the benefits of staying at a Disney resort, you may find that it’s worth the extra money.
Extra Magic Hours – If you stay at a Disney resort, you are allowed to experience Extra Magic Hours. This is an hour before or after a park opens for the public where only resort guest are allowed in parks. This extra hour can mean several short lines to the most popular rides.
Fast Passes – Guests staying in a Disney Resort are able to book fast passes 60 days in advance, as opposed to 30 days in advance for everyone else. For the most popular rides, it can be difficult to get a Fast Pass if you don’t book within minutes of your 60-day mark.
Extra Disney Magic – A lot of extra Disney magic will happen at your resort. You may find surprises in your room or get a few extra fast passes. In addition, you may have many more dining options in the resorts.
Ease of Transportation – By staying at a Disney resort you can take a bus to get anywhere. Beyond that, you are always close to a Disney Park.
Where should we stay for our Disney Honeymoon?
Four Seasons Resort Orlando
If you have the money, the Four Seasons is our top recommendation for a honeymoon stay at Disney for many reasons. The Four Seasons luxe rooms feature marble bathrooms and in-mirror televisions. In addition, the Four Seasons has the largest guest rooms by square foot in Orlando. Honeymooners will enjoy the simple detail of having do not disturb buttons at the side of the Four Seasons bed. Out the balcony, you will have a perfect view of the evening fireworks show. Here you will also find the only adult-only hotel at Disney.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas
The best part about staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is being in the middle of all the animals. From Savannah rooms, guests are able to see animals out in the fields. There are even viewing stations that include night vision binoculars.
For dining, there are several options with the most well known being Jiko – The Cooking Place. This fine dining restaurant serves African-style food cooked in wood burning ovens. For an extra-special night, you can book a meal and a safari together!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort
A more budget-friendly option, the Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, located in Disney Springs, has a cozy southern feel. Stroll the quaint streets of the French Quarter, or the more rustic Riverside area. Here you’ll find tree-lined passageways and horse-drawn carriages. If you enjoy jazz music, the Scat Cat’s Club is a great lounge to visit.

When choosing a honeymoon destination, one of the first steps should be deciding which season you will be traveling for the best weather and prices. If you start with this step in the beginning, it is easier to narrow down your choices – which can seem daunting! Keep in mind that the best weather is going to be found during any destination’s high season. High season usually means higher room rates and more crowds. So make sure to reserve early or choose a travel time that isn’t in peak season for your honeymoon destination.
We’ve created a guide on the best destinations for each month based off of the most ideal weather of the year. The months right before and after peak season are known as “should seasons”. During shoulder seasons, you’ll usually still have good weather and often lower hotel rates. Some destinations, like the Caribbean and Hawaii, enjoy great weather year-round, but are at their best during the months listed below.

The Best Time to Honeymoon in the Caribbean
In the Caribbean, the best months to visit are December to May. During this time frame, the islands are the coolest and breeziest. However, average temperatures year-round are between 78-88 degrees. The worst months to go to the Caribbean are August through October. Technically, official hurricane season runs from June through November, but the worst months are August, September & October. Keep in mind that islands near South America, like Aruba and Trinidad, are outside of the hurricane danger zone so you can visit these islands year-round. In addition, high-altitude and coastal areas of the Caribbean are coooled down by the trade winds all year, which you’ll be thankful for if you plan to go in the hotter months).
The Best Time to Honeymoon in the Bahamas
The best months to visit the Bahamas are November through April. The worst months are June to October, as it is generally the hottest and rainiest time of year there.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Hawaii
Hawaii is a great honeymoon destination all year long, but March to July are the best. October and November are also good times to visit the islands of Hawaii. December and January experience the coolest weather – although you’ll still see an average temperature of about 75 degrees during these months. August and September are the hottest months to visit Hawaii, and November to March is Hawaii’s rainy season. Keep in mind that the northern shore of each of Hawaii’s island is rainier than the southern sides. This is especially true for Kauai and the Big Island.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Mexico
The best months in terms of weather for Mexico is between October and May. Rainy seasons begins in June and runs through September in most popular areas of Mexico , but usually only involves a light sprinkle throughout the day. Popular honeymoon destinations in Mexico like Cabo and Cancun can get very hot from June through August, so keep that in mind as well.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Bermuda
May to October are peak season for weather in Bermuda. January and February are rainier and not as warm.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Europe
The best months to enjoy Europe are from May to September or October. They have generally the same season as the U.S. temperature-wise, so it’s going to be colder in most destinations – even beach destinations like the South of France – from November through April. The worst months weather-wise are December and February. Prices are also usually steeper in December because of the holidays.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Florida
Florida’s best weather occurs in March, April, October and November. The worst time to visit Florida is between May and September as it is very hot and Florida is technically located in the Atlantic hurricane zone. However, the Florida Keys experience warm, Caribbean-like weather all year long.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia’s best weather is found between November to February. The hottest months are April and May and the rainy season is from June through the end of September.
The Best Time to Honeymoon in the South Pacific
The best time to visit the South Pacific is between May and October. December, January and February are very hot, humid, and rainy here. In addition, Fiji is inside the Pacific cyclone zone which runs from November to April. Tahiti, however, is not inside the danger zone and Fiji is rarely hit during the highest-risk months of January and February.

Honeymoon destinations in Europe offer endless romance and adventure. Newlyweds hoping to catch some sun can head to the Mediterranean coast and wine lovers can choose from a number of regions to explore. In addition, there are plenty of cozy small towns where you can simply enjoy each other and get to know a new culture and city. Plus, you don’t have to settle for just one destination in Europe, but can fit several in one epic trip. We’ve included suggestions for nearby cities in each of the destinations below.
Check out our list of the best honeymoon destinations in Europe.

Paris
When it comes to honeymoon destinations in Europe, Paris is what comes to most people’s minds. I am dying to return to this beautiful city since I haven’t visited in almost ten years! The city of Lights has so much to offer newlyweds, including beautiful architecture, exquisite French food, great shopping, iconic luxury hotels, and world-class museums. Another great thing about Paris is that it is easy to explore on foot, making it ideal for romantic strolls down the charming streets or along the Seine River. In addition, you’ll find many opportunities for cooking classes and wine tastings and there are many markets to peruse throughout the city. Paris is near many other romantic cities including Brussels, Amsterdam, Marseille, Lucerne, and Zurich if you want to add on to your trip.

Tuscany
Tuscany falls in a close second to Paris when it comes to the most romantic honeymoon destinations in Europe. The region is famous for its wine, beautiful countryside, culture-filled cities, and delicious dining. We suggest staying in the bustling city of Florence and then use this as your base for visiting just about anywhere in the region you’d like. If you’ve already been to Florence, consider staying in a smaller Tuscan town such as Volterra or Lucca. The quiet charm in these quaint villages is perfect for honeymooners. Besides classic Tuscan wine tastings, you should also indulge in a traditional dinner the Italian way – several courses served over several hours! And of course, wandering the beautiful towns and cities is one of the most romantic things you can do here. If you want to extend your trip to other countries, consider visiting nearby Rome, Venice, or the Amalfi Coast.

Positano
You’ve probably heard of or seen pictures of the gorgeous small town of Positano on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The best time to visit this romantic destination is from May to September so you can take advantage of the beaches, outdoor restaurants and bars, and boating. This is an especially great option for the luxury-loving honeymooners as Positano is home to several luxury hotels including Le Sirenuse and Il San Pietro di Positano.
In addition to plenty of things to do during the day, the city also has a great nightlife scene. If you are looking for a party, head to the famous Music on the Rocks. If you’re more of a low-key nighttime couple, grab a drink at Franco’s bar which is known for having the best view in Positano. Rome and Venice are easy cities to tack on to the front or back end of your stay in Positano.

Algarve
Algarve, Portugal is a popular holiday spot for Northern Europeans, but it is also a great honeymoon destination. The biggest draw here is the beach, so if your idea of the perfect honeymoon is relaxing by the water – Algarve is for you! The best part is that, even in the height of summer, you can always find secluded beaches along the 150 km coastline. In addition to the beach, Algarve has unbelievable seafood! And the best way to eat seafood is overlooking the ocean, so the city has plenty of eateries with water views. Besides lounging by the water, taking in the views, and gorging on seafood, there isn’t much else to do in Algarve. This may be a downside for some, but it is perfect for honeymooners who need to be forced to relax and appreciate this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Nearby cities include Lisbon, Porto, Sevilla, and Malaga.

Santorini
Everything about the island of Santorini screams romance. We suggest avoiding hotels in Fira or Oia as they are more crowded. Instead, opt for a smaller location like Imerovigli. Probably the most amazing time of day in Santorini is sunset. Oia is one of the best areas to watch the sunset, but you can also enjoy it while wine tasting in Pyrgos. The absolute best way to experience the sunset in Santorini is on a boat. Book a sunset cruise with unlimited drinks and delicious Greek tapas for an absolutely unforgettable experience! Your Enchanted Travel Honeymoon Expert can help you choose a sunset cruise which stops by the famous Red Beach in Akrotiri and Black Sand. If you do choose Santorini as your honeymoon destination, you might want to consider adding Athens to your honeymoon package.

Lake Como, Italy
The exquisite combination of fresh air, nature, water and great weather make Lake Como a popular honeymoon destination. It is also quite popular with celebrities, including George and Amal Clooney who own a home there! The best way to enjoy the lake by boat, but there is also great hiking, golf and tennis. And don’t leave without trying the gelato! The best time to visit Lake Como is between March and November, with May through September having the best weather. If you want to add on to your trip, consider visiting nearby Amsterdam, Munich, or Basel.

Fall is a popular time of the year to schedule your wedding and a great time to travel for your honeymoon. You will find amazing weather in several different parts of the world and might even be able to travel at a discount depending on the destination. Below, we’ve rounded up the best destinations for a fall honeymoon.
The Best Honeymoon Destinations for Fall

Curaçao
Curaçao is entirely outside of the hurricane belt, making it one of the best honeymoon destinations for fall. Hurricane season in the Caribbean runs from June 1st through November 30th. However, Curaçao, and a few other popular Caribbean islands, are outside of the hurricane belt. Therefore, the path the hurricanes take avoids these islands.
Many new resorts have opened up here over the last few years, including Sandals Royal Curaçao, which is a perfect property for honeymooners. Curaçao is a great place for scuba diving and snorkeling, and you won’t want to miss the island’s capital city of Willemstad. Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its pastel-colored buildings and colonial architecture.

Aruba
Aruba is a very popular Caribbean island and is also outside of the hurricane belt. It is very convenient to get to Aruba, with nonstop flights from many major international airports in the US. You’ll find tons of luxury resorts for honeymoons in Aruba. Don’t miss Flamingo Beach, where you can feed and play with flamingos on a private island!

Barbados
Although it is technically within the hurricane zone, Barbados makes the list, as it is a wonderful island to explore in the fall. The good news is that Barbados is on the very edge of the hurricane zone and very infrequently sees hurricanes. This island is also easy to get to and has a lot of amazing resorts for honeymooners.

St. Lucia
St. Lucia is another great destination for couples traveling on their honeymoon in the fall. However, this island is also technically in the hurricane belt. Luckily, the way the island is situated in the southeast of the Caribbean basin protects it from large category hurricanes. Smaller category one or two hurricanes are possible.
With that being said, St. Lucia is a world-class destination year-round. St. Lucia is one of the easiest islands to travel to on this list. Plus, St. Lucia is extremely picturesque and there is a ton of activities to do throughout the island. Snorkeling, scuba diving, gorgeous beaches, and great hiking are just a few of the highlights on this wonderful Caribbean island.

Grenada
Grenada might just be the most underrated island in the Caribbean. It is technically part of the hurricane zone, however, it is even farther south than Barbados and St. Lucia. As a result, Grenada very rarely sees any hurricane activity. Grenada is a bit harder to get to from the United States than other Caribbean islands, but this means the island has stayed pretty natural and untouched compared to some other islands. Grenada is a great island to rent a car so you can explore everything on your own.

Paris
Fall is the perfect time to visit the most romantic city on Earth: Paris! You’ll find it is less crowded and you can truly experience the city as a local. In Paris, Fall is the time of the year when most of the true locals return from their summer holidays and many of the summer tourists have left. Don’t miss a trip to Versailles in the fall – the fall foliage burst with color. If it gets too chilly, you have plenty to explore inside the gorgeous palace.
Barcelona
Much like Paris, Fall is the time of the year when Barcelona’s locals return and many tourists leave. There are tons of great festivals, food, and wine tastings, as well as cooking and cocktail classes in Barcelona, making it a bucket list destination for foodie honeymooners!
Portugal
We love Portugal in the fall. Our honeymoon experts at Enchanted recommend the city of Porto if you are honeymooning in the fall months. Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal and sits on the Duoro River making it easily accessible to wine country. In addition, Porto’s old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lined with beautifully colorful and tiled facades and historic sites.

Unique Honeymoon Destinations for Newlyweds

Zermatt, Switzerland
Although Switzerland is somewhat popular when it comes to honeymoons, the quaint mountain town of Zermatt is one of the most unique honeymoon places in the world. If you want to skip a beach honeymoon and want to explore the mountains instead, then you can’t find a better spot than Zermatt. Don’t leave without sampling some of their cozy food favorites like hot chocolate and cheese fondue.

Algarve, Portugal
The bustling beach town of Algarve is one of our favorite romantic honeymoon destinations – perfect for a one-of-a-kind honeymoon experience. Algarve, Portugal is full of towering cliffs, European flair, and old-world romance, and is surrounded by stunning royal-blue waters. For an unforgettable romantic dinner, head to the oceanfront restaurant Arte Náutica on Armação de Pera beach and sit on the terrace.

Charleston, South Carolina
Charleston is not only super romantic and picturesque, but it is also South Carolina’s oldest city. This makes it ideal for history-buff honeymooners! Charleston, South Carolina is also a great honeymoon destination for foodies because it is known as the culinary epicenter of the South. There are more amazing restaurants in Charleston than you can count.

Nantucket, Massachusetts
Nantucket is one of the most idyllic destinations in the United States. There is truly nothing like it! Located 30 miles out to sea off of Massachusetts, Nantucket is home to cobblestone roads, beautiful beaches, a vibrant history, and fantastic food.
Plan to visit during the summer months for a bustling, summer vacation-type stay. Otherwise, plan your honeymoon during the holidays to take part in the Christmas Stroll. During the ‘Stroll’ each year, downtown Nantucket comes to life with carolers, holiday shopping, and other fun festivities.

Trinidad & Tobago
The Caribbean islands are one of the most popular honeymoon destinations as it has some of the world’s nicest white sand beaches and tons of affordable nonstop flights from the U.S.
Trinidad & Tobago are often overlooked for more popular areas like Jamaica, St. Lucia, or the Bahamas. Trinidad (larger island) & Tobago (smaller island) are located just a bit further south than these popular destinations for honeymooners.
Tobago is home to a natural glowing pool, thanks to bioluminescence. Trinidad has some of the world’s best street food while Tobago is known for having world-class beaches.

Kenya
Kenya is located in East Africa and is the perfect destination for adventurers who want to explore wildlife, beaches, and the countryside all in one trip. For one of the most unique wildlife experiences, visit the famous Giraffe Manor in Nairobi, Kenya. Here, giraffes on the property will visit morning and evening, even poking their heads in windows while you dine. There are also many safari options and other nature-focused resort and hotel options.

When it comes to honeymoons, we are the experts! Let’s take a look at some of the best honeymoon destinations to book for September.
The Best Honeymoon Destinations for September
Maui North Coast
September Honeymoons in Maui
September is the perfect time of the year to visit Maui. It offers great weather and fewer crowds than other months. In fact, September is considered the “Golden Month” in Maui. This has to do with the weather during the month: it is still warm and sunny, but not scorching hot, and there is little to no threat of typhoons, hurricanes, or tropical storms. You will also find that there are fewer tourists in September, and the price of flights is much cheaper compared to other peak months.

September Honeymoons in Italy
We also love booking honeymoons in Italy during the month of September. September offers two great things to honeymooners: pleasant weather and lesser crowds. You’ll still find plenty of attractions open (some things close up for the winter in Italy – even hotels!), and you could even be first in line to see them. September offers plenty of food festivals, Italian culture, and sunny days for beaches.

September Honeymoons in Greece
For fewer crowds and not-so-scorching temps, the best time to honeymoon in Greece is September and October. You’ll also find little to no rain during this month, so it is the ideal time to spend your honeymoon outdoors. We recommend booking at least a week in Greece to explore all that it has to offer!

Planning a honeymoon in 2026 is less about checking a box and more about choosing a destination that truly fits how you want to start your marriage. We’re seeing couples prioritize all-inclusive resorts, elevated dining, privacy, and destinations that feel relaxing without being boring. Based on what honeymooners are loving right now, these are the best honeymoon destinations for 2026. Couples are focusing on luxury all-inclusive resorts with a mix of classic areas and some newer ones! Check them all out below.
Best Honeymoon Destinations for 2026
Sandals Grande St. Lucian
1. St. Lucia
St. Lucia is a great spot if you are looking for romantic scenery and privacy. This destination has a unique romantic atmosphere that you won’t find everywhere. We love so many properties here, many of which are more intimate and elevated – perfect for honeymooners! Some of our favorite honeymoon resorts in St. Lucia include Sandals Grande St. Lucian and Sandals Halcyon Beach. The Grande is a true honeymoon classic with overwater bungalows and multiple beautiful beaches. Halcyon Beach is smaller and more quiet. It is ideal for couples wanting a slower pace and to truly disconnect from the “real world”.
We can’t include St. Lucia on this list without mentioning one of our all-time favorites: Jade Mountain. This is one of the most iconic honeymoon resorts in the world. It’s known for its open-air suites with private infinity pools and perfect views of the Pitons. While it does not offer traditional all-inclusive stays, it does have an all-inclusive meal plan.
Secrets Cap Cana
2. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Punta Cana is great for honeymooners, with a ton of luxury and high-end all-inclusive properties. We also love it due to the ease of traveling there, and it’s a great option for those on a tighter budget. Many of our travel agents visited this destination in 2025, and they all agreed that the resort quality has increased dramatically in recent years.
Two of our favorite properties for honeymoon couples in Punta Cana include Secrets Cap Cana and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. These are both adults-only, all-inclusive options with great dining and an upscale vibe.
Zemi Miches
3. Miches, Dominican Republic
Miches really surprised us in a great way this year! It is located just about 90 minutes from Punta Cana and offers some unique, new properties that would be perfect for honeymooners. This is definitely one of the most talked-about new honeymoon destinations in the Caribbean. Here you’ll find untouched beaches, lush surroundings, and a more private, boutique feel.
One honeymoon resort that we loved visiting in Miches this year was Zemi Miches Punta Cana. This property was outstanding, with unbeatable views and privacy. It would be great for honeymooners, but keep in mind that it is family-friendly, not adults-only. There is an adults-only section, however, with a private fine-dining restaurant and 1, 2, or 3-bedroom villas right on the beach.
Miches is perfect for those wanting something that feels exclusive and new.
Secrets Akumal
4. Riviera Maya, Mexico
We will never stop loving Riviera Maya and constantly suggest it for our honeymooners. It truly has so much to offer, and all-inclusive properties for every budget and desire. It also has such incredible dining and nightlife, both at the resorts and in Cancun. We also love that you have access to great activities like cenotes, ruins, and eco-parks. It’s ideal for those honeymooners who want relaxation mixed with a little adventure or nightlife. Two luxury hotels we are loving right now for honeymooners are Secrets Akumal and Hotel Xcaret Arte.
Sandals South Coast
5. Jamaica
Jamaica is another all-time favorite. You truly cannot beat the friendly locals and the culture. You’ll also find beautiful beaches, amazing service, and a relatively easy travel experience. We love Sandals South Coast and Sandals Royal Caribbean. Sandals South Coast offers overwater bungalows and a more secluded setting, while Royal Caribbean is a classic honeymoon choice with a private offshore island.
Grace Bay Club
6. Turks & Caicos
Turks & Caicos provides that luxury feel and low-key elegance that is just perfect for honeymooners. It is quintessential Caribbean, with crystal-clear water and a distinct culture. Turks & Caicos is ideal for honeymooners who value pristine beaches and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. All-inclusive options are limited, but the quality is high.
We love Grace Bay Club here for honeymooners. It is not all-inclusive, but it’s really the perfect choice for anyone honeymooning in the Turks!
How to Choose the Right Honeymoon Destination for You
When narrowing down the best honeymoon destination for 2026, consider:
- How important an all-inclusive experience is to you
- Whether you prefer relaxation, adventure, or a mix of both
- Travel time and ease from your home airport
- Whether you want a tried-and-true destination or something new like Miches
The best honeymoon destinations for 2026 blend luxury, comfort, and experiences that feel meaningful rather than overly packaged. Whether you’re drawn to a classic like St. Lucia, a reliable favorite like Punta Cana, or an emerging destination like Zemi Miches, the right resort makes all the difference. Working with a travel professional helps ensure your honeymoon is seamless, well-timed, and tailored to your style. That way, you can focus on enjoying the start of married life, not managing logistics.
