About the Couple

“We’ve been together for over 12 years and both knew that we didn’t want a traditional wedding and wanted to do something a little different. We visited Punta Cana a few years ago and absolutely loved it , so we thought our friends and family would too! Everyone we talked to seemed to like the idea, so we decided to go for it,” the bride, Liz, said.

Liz was looking for a low-maintenance wedding and Majestic Elegance did not disappoint! “The resort took care of everything!” Liz said.

“I loved that everyone at the resort was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure our group was having a great time. The butlers were quick to respond and very knowledgeable about the resort. Every worker we came across had a smile on their face and seemed welcoming. The beach was the best I’ve seen at any resort we’ve stayed at. There was plenty of room for our entire group, and the sand and water were absolutely perfect. Food was amazing too which is always a plus! We ended up getting upgraded to the swim up suite and it was huge. Super clean and so beautiful! We would love to go back again,” Liz explained.

Favorite Memory of the Experience

“One favorite memory of the week was the private excursion that we did for our group for a 4-hour party boat. The staff was so much fun and everyone had a great time! There was snorkeling, a stop at a private beach and the party sandbar with plenty of food and drinks! The wedding was beautiful but I think people will probably remember the party boat more than anything else,” the bride said.

One of the standout features here is the resort layout and beach experience. Guests looking for privacy and relaxation will appreciate the spacious feel throughout the property.

A few things our team especially noted:

• Four pools total, including two reserved for club-level guests
• Large private beach area for club members
• More secluded and relaxing atmosphere
• Excellent dining and service

The resort is also celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025, which speaks to its long-standing reputation and loyal guest following.

One thing to note: Magna restaurant has a dress code requiring collared shirts and long pants for men. Sandals are allowed, but flip flops are not.
