Our Favorite Resort Beaches
Whether we are traveling to the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, or Florida, we are always on the lookout for a great beach when booking a hotel. With crisp turquoise waters and long white sand beaches for strolling, these 7 resorts have the best beaches our agents have seen.
1. Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort

This huge resort, with an equally expansive beach, tops our list for best resort beaches we have ever seen. Not only is the beach incredible, but it has one of the best pools in Hawaii and a spa ranked one of the top in the US.
2. Grand Velas, Riviera Maya, Mexico

This luxury resort boasts one of our favorite beaches in all of Mexico. Luxury does not stop at the beach, though! This is a resort that we love to send avid foodies to, because all of the cuisine is gourmet and delicious.
3. Four Seasons Maui

This private resort sits on the beautiful Wailea Beach. This resort is also known for great dining, but expect to pay quite a bit for your meals here as this is not all-inclusive and the restaurants are pricey!
4. Beaches Turks & Caicos

This is one of the most beautiful and fun beaches, located in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. It sits on the calm, leeward side of the island and is situated in a protected cove, so it is safe for swimming and snorkeling.
5. Couples Negril, Jamaica

It would not be a complete list in our eyes without Seven Mile Beach, which is where Couples Negril is located. This adults-only property is great for honeymooners and, you guessed it, couples!
6. The Breakers, Palm Beach, FL

For Florida-goers, we recommend Palm Beach. The Breakers Resort offers a half-mile private beach, four pools, and a private reef for snorkeling and scuba diving.
7. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

One of the most fun and energetic resorts in the Dominican Republic, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana has an amazing beach. What we love about this beach is the variety of activities available—from water sports to sunrise yoga.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort

Our clients Ronald & Taneia Jones visited Secrets Puerto Lost Cabos Golf & Spa Resort in June this summer. I think it’s safe to say they loved it, based on their adorable photos and glowing review: “We had a fantastic time! Despite the missed day we made up for it. We took a couple tours and it was well worth it. We did the nightlife off the resort and it was so fun going to the different bars. The resort had great service! We were given an anniversary breakfast in bed. The views there were amazing! We will more than likely go back! Thank you again!”
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is an amazing all-inclusive resort for families. The pictures speak for themselves – it looks as though they are living their best lives! This family of three decided to have some professional photographs done on the stunning white sand beaches of Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, and they turned out amazing.
Couples Swept Away – Negril, Jamaica

Our Enchanted Travel Expert Graci received this rave review from her clients after they returned from their stay at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica:
“We absolutely loved our vacation at Swept Away. The resort was so beautiful. The grounds were immaculate. We loved the greenery that was around the resort. Made it even more tropical. The beach was the best beach I have ever seen. The resort said that every room was booked while we stayed there, making it their busiest week of the year, but I wouldn’t have guessed that. We had plenty of space on the beach and did not feel overcrowded. We also never had a problem getting food or drink due to the resort having so many guests. The food and drinks were fantastic. Every meal I had was delicious, and also every drink.
We both enjoyed using the non motorized water sports. We also took advantage of the excursions that were included at our resort. I think that is a huge plus for this resort. We were able to go swimming through caves, go on a sunset cruise, and go snorkeling at no extra cost.
Overall, this vacation was the best vacation we have ever been on. This week we have been looking back at pictures and it really was a beautiful place to spend our honeymoon. We don’t have one bad thing to say about it. We hope to be back some day! Thank you Graci for everything you did for us to make this honeymoon possible. You are the best!”
Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

This property has been on my bucket list for quite some time now, and I’m extremely jealous of our Enchanted Travelers, Allison & Abe, who celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary here in late July. Marissa received this five-star review from the couple when they returned:
“I can’t thank you enough for helping us get this dreamy trip to Cancun and Live Aqua! Since we haven’t traveled out of country since our honeymoon, we wanted this trip to be special as we get ready to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I gave you a very long wish list and you literally met every single one of our wishes. And I can’t believe how simple the process was. Abe and I talked about that nearly every day on our trip. Trying to plan a trip like this ourselves with our busy schedules would have likely ended in disaster. Once I gave you our wish list, you had a list of our options in our budget within a day. The service that you and your agency gave was spectacular and we look forward to booking through you again. I can’t imagine doing it any other way. It was perfect. Thank you!”

Sandals South Coast – Whitehouse, Jamaica

The Vaughan’s have been booking trips with us for as long as we can remember. In fact, we booked their honeymoon at one of their favorite resorts not so long ago! This week they are at Sandals South Coast in White House, Jamaica, celebrating their anniversary and birthdays. They also attended the Sandals Select Rewards Clink & Drink then Wine & Dine private event. Finally, they took a day trip to Floyd’s Pelican Bar. While there, they carved their names into the driftwood as many tourists do to commemorate their time.
Azul Beach Resort Negril

We love seeing our Enchanted Travelers enjoying their vacation time! This couple loved their stay at the Azul Beach Resort Negril, by Karisma. Exceptional service and five-star cuisine make Karisma resorts one of our favorites. Out of all the resorts mentioned here this is the best option for a true foodie!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is one of our favorite all-inclusive resorts in Mexico! Our travel advisor Marissa stayed here earlier this month with her husband and had an amazing time. She took some incredible photos for us and definitely recommends this resort for couples, family, or a friend group.

Marissa’s favorite restaurant on the property was Blaze, an oceanfront steak and seafood grill. She notes that it is especially great for dinner, where they have a violinist performing.
Amazing Location Close to Downtown & Airport
In addition to amazing food and drinks, Hyatt Ziva also has an ideal location. It is just 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, making it the perfect destination for a quick getaway. Plus, Marissa loved that it is so close to town so it was a quick, cheap Uber ride to dine, shop, and explore the downtown area.

If you do venture downtown, make sure you check out Gaby’s Restaurant Bar for the best fresh guacamole and shrimp tacos! Marissa and her husband enjoyed a meal here and then walked along the Malecon one afternoon. Sounds like an absolutely perfect day!

Great Excursions in the Area
Puerto Vallarta has a ton of amazing excursions to try. Your Enchanted Travel advisor can assist you in booking these in advance. Marissa and her husband enjoyed a cruise and candlelit dinner show during their trip. They took a boat ride across the bay to a private, secluded island with gorgeous walkways lit up with candles and torches. Here they had dinner and took in the stunning views. After dinner, there is a theatrical show with music and dancing.

A huge thanks to our great clients for sharing this review with us! We love getting firsthand feedback like this because it helps bring these resorts to life in a way photos and brochures just can’t. Our clients recently stayed at Keyonna Beach Resort in 2024 and Cocobay Resort in 2025. Both trips were wonderful but very different experiences. Let’s take a look at everything they had to say about each one.
Antigua Resort Review: Cocobay vs Keyonna Beach

Cocobay Resort Antigua
At Cocobay, they stayed in a Premium Pool Suite. The setting was beautiful with colorful cottages, ocean views, and lots of charm. They loved the staff, stating that they were some of the friendliest people they have ever met. The coffee shop and gym were nice touches, and the guided nature walk and Hobie Cat sailing tour were highlights. Meals were tasty and varied at lunch and dinner, and the main bar was a fun spot to relax.

On the downside, the beach wasn’t very welcoming, and the beach pool wasn’t well-maintained. The main pool had gorgeous views but tended to be crowded. Their bathroom was hot and lacked privacy, and storage space in the room was limited. They said Cocobay was perfect for a shorter three to four-night stay, but not where they’d spend a whole week.
Keyonna Beach Resort Antigua
Keyonna, on the other hand, was one of their favorite resorts ever. Their Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottage came with a private plunge pool, hammock, cabana, and direct beach access. Everything was ocean-facing and breathtaking. They loved the top-shelf liquor, daily stocked minibar, reusable water bottles, and the outdoor shower. The food was consistently good, with local favorites like jerk chicken and beef patties at the grill, and the whole atmosphere felt calm and romantic.

The only negatives at Keyonna were that the staff didn’t feel quite as warm as Cocobay, and the bar area was small. There’s also no gym or coffee shop, but overall, they would go back for a full week in a heartbeat.
Our takeaway is that Cocobay is fun, social, and full of character – plus the staff is unforgettable – while Keyonna is peaceful, romantic, and made for longer stays. Both have their charm, but for this client, Keyonna came out on top.
