Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA HD) is trying to solve this issue with their plans for a “telepresence robot” called Newme. Newme will allow you to travel around the world without stepping foot on an airplane. This invention will basically turn you into an avatar. In addition, it may turn you into a very lazy human. A remote control controls your robot so you never have to leave your couch.<\/p>\n
